Bobbie Gallagher is the parent of three children, two have autism.  It is because of her children's unique ways of learning that she decided to pursue a degree in Special Education and use this learning to help others. 

Although many will tout "every child is different," Bobbie and her family experience this everyday and understand the importance of finding what works for each individual with autism.

In addition to her Master's Degree in Special Education, Bobbie has also:

bullet Completed a 16-week online course in Verbal Behavior with Behavior Analyst, Inc. and attended an additional 18 hours of advance teaching in the area of Verbal Behavior.
bullet Been a member of the State Task Force on the Education of Students with Autism – The result of this led to the New Jersey Autism Program Quality Indicators document.
bullet Attended a workshop titled “Self-injury and Related Behavior Disorders” given by Dr. Brian Iwata.
bullet Additional workshops include topics such as RDI (Relationship Development Intervention), The SCERTS Model with Dr. Barry Prizant, and many many more.
bullet  Spoken in front of members of Congress, medical groups, and parents, in addition to being on televised programs,  to bring awareness to the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
bullet Been a long time member of COSAC
bullet Worked in public and private schools helping to train staff, modify curriculum, implement visual supports and work directly with students.
bullet Worked as a home based consultant helping parents to learn how to increase skills and/or decrease maladaptive behaviors in children with autism, using various techniques.
